Child Sponsorship Form

For £80 a month, your sponsorship will cover your child’s academic materials, school uniform, extracurricular activities and health care, including glasses if necessary.

 

Additionally, it will cover the cost of your child’s care in our Orphanage, where she will receive food, clothing, shelter and safety, living in a positive and nurturing environment.

Setting up your Monthly Donation  —

You have three options to choose from, depending on how 'techy' you are...

1. PayPal Subscription  —

The Dust Project has a charity account with PayPal.  It’s a fast, convenient way to set up a recurring payment online.  Click on the button below to open a new window, where you can set up a monthly payment using the credit/debit card of your choice or existing PayPal account. 

  • Don’t forget to finish filling in this form and hit ‘Submit’ when you’re done!

2. ONLINE BANKING —

If you would like to manually establish a Direct Debit from your bank account to ours, you'll find the Dust Project Account details below.

Gift Aid Declaration (for UK taxpayers only)—

I want to Gift Aid my donation of £80 and any donations I make in the future to The Dust Project.

I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference.

Please notify the charity if you:

  • want to cancel this declaration

  • change your name or home address

  • no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains

 

If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.

I confirm I will set up my recurring payment through PayPal, Online/Mobile Banking, or that I will complete and return the Giving Form by post.

I understand and give my consent for my data to be sent to The Dust Project's partners in Sri Lanka, in order to process and carry out my Child Sponsorship.

I confirm that I will sponsor my chosen child at the cost of £80 per month, until such a time as he/she comes of age or his/her circumstances change for the better, or I am no longer able to, financially or otherwise.  If I am unable to continue my commitment, I understand it is up to me to communicate this to The Dust Project, in order that they might find alternate means of supporting said child.
