Become a Corporate Sponsor

Working Together

Want to partner with us?  Several of our volunteers and Build Trips have been fully or partially sponsored by corporate donors and businesses looking to get involved and ‘give back’.

From dress-down days to funding an entire Build, there’s no action too small or too grand.  We’d love to hear your ideas!

Here are a few to get the creative juices flowing…

  • Twin your doors // toilets // lights // or any other fixtures with an overseas construction project.

  • Sponsor a Dust Project Event, such as a Fundraising Ball.

  • Offer ‘matched giving’ to your employees – when a joint donation is made by staff and the company they work for.  Employees make individual donations, which your company fund-matches, encouraging them in their efforts!

  • Offer a charity dress-down day to employees, or another in-house fundraising event.

  • Donate services or items to The Dust Project free of charge, or at a reduced cost. Perhaps you could offer items which could be used in a raffle, or you may be able to offer your premises at a reduced cost to enable us to hold an event.

  • Undertake the task as a Business to fundraise the cost of an entire Build project!  Perhaps cap it off by sending able delegates out to work on it themselves.

'Wishing good, merely, is a lukewarm charity; but doing good is divine.'

A heartfelt Thank You

to those who have sponsored past and current projects

Hiscox

London Market To our absolute delight, the London Market team generously adopted The Dust Project as their ‘overseas’ charity for corporate connection and sponsorship. Within 6 months, the team had raised enough to fund the building of a home and toilet for Nathan, Niroshini and their children. In September of 2018, HISCOX sent a team of ten delegates to help build... and what an INCREDIBLE team. Passionate, unified and sincere, they served with every ounce of strength they possessed.

MW Fitness

Bishop's Stortford, UK Mike Williams and all at MW Fitness fundraised to build a home and toilet for Balayia, Kormatha and their three children. Mike and Lauren (one of the trainers at MW) then came along on the trip in Autumn 2017, to help build it with their own hands. After mixing every load of cement agonizingly by hand, Mike Williams then vowed to fund the cost of a Dust Project cement mixer, for every future build. We honestly cannot thank you enough!

Bishop's Stortford College

Bishop's Stortford, UK For their 2016 Charity Day, Bishop's Stortford College chose The Dust Project! Making a house from flapjack 'bricks', the schoolchildren then sold them. With this and other brilliant fundraising efforts, they helped fund a real house, for a real family in need— Ramesh and Hilda, who tragically lost their baby Danilla at 7 months old. Thank you Bishop's Stortford College, for putting action to a cause, and making the difference of a lifetime.

Steven Oates Estate Agent

Hertford, UK Steven Oates kindly donated £1,000 for the building of a house in the Fall of 2016. 'The Lads Tour' went to Sri Lanka to work on two homes simultaneously— one, in part, sponsored by the generosity of Steven Oates.

If you decide to cover the complete cost of a project, whether it is a community building, a well or a home, we will arrange for a plaque with your name or business to be displayed on the construction. Alternatively, you might like the plaque to be made in memory of a loved one.
